Does anyone know if the current version of Quicken 2017 for Mac will support MacOS 10.13 when it is released soon? The High Sierra version will be changing the file system to APFS from HFS.

I have Quicken for Mac 2017 ver 4.6.7 on Mac OS Sierra. Every time I open the program, there is a pop-up 'reminding' me to upgrade to the latest version. Closing that pop-up generates a second, similar pop-up. Does anyone here know of a way to turn these annoying pop-ups off?

Quicken 2017 works with my HP ink jet, but not with my L90 Laser. The Canon L90 works fine with all Mac Sierra apps, just not with Quicken 2017. I would really rather print my checks with the laser, but apparently there is some kind of Quicken driver issue.

Apple says that APFS will be invisible to most programs. But who knows. I would not want to be the Guinea pig on my working version. I may install High Sierra on a separate partition and try Quicken there first. But hopefully some others will test it against the beta and let us know.

The short answer is no. High Sierra isn't ready for prime time.

Well, it may not officially be supported. But I've been using it with High Sierra since Beta 4, with High Sierra 10.13. And now with Beta 10.13.1 v2. I've encountered no problems. My Quicken has updated to 4.6.6.

Which means it was not converted to APFS, as Fusion drives are not yet supported.

Mac OS 10.13 seems to work with Quicken 16.2.4, HOWEVER check printing preference settings may need to be adjusted. I print on voucher checks, and the numerical amount field was not printing the cents digit after the Mac OS upgrade. I managed to fix the problem by changing the Amount Width setting to 10. This setting can be found at: (Quicken) Preferences.. > Print Checks > Positioning > Amount Width. Since the OS upgrade, the check printing font had somehow changed to American Typewriter from my previous font, Helvetica. I was able to change it back.
I would not be surprised if there are similar printing issues when printing reports.

NO!! After much manipulation I have it basically working, but it will not print checks at all. Crashes every time! Tried everything, but just will not even attempt to print, just crashes and sends report to Apple and Quicken.

Try this:
When the print dialog comes up, click the PDF menu in the lower right corner of the dialog. Choose Open PDF in Preview. If that works, we can narrow down the issue to something between your specific printer, Quicken and High Sierra.

Thanks. After further testing I found that the problem is incompatibility with my Canon L90 printer. Quicken 2017 works with my HP ink jet, but not with my L90 Laser. The Canon L90 works fine with all Mac Sierra apps, just not with Quicken 2017. I would really rather print my checks with the laser, but apparently there is some kind of Quicken driver issue.

You might be able to open as a PDF in Preview (as described above) and THEN print to the laser printer. I know, extra step in this workaround, but better than nothing.
The other thing you can try is when the print dialog comes up, there's a popup menu for a bunch of different settings pages: color matching, paper handling, etc. You could go through all the settings on each of these pages and see if there's something you can change to will make it work directly with the laser. It might take a bit of experimenting to find which setting (if any) is causing the crash.
You could uninstall and reinstall the printer in macOS System Preferences, but I'm not hopeful that will fix it.
Other than those suggestions, I guess I'm out of ideas.
